Atlantic Records: While absolutely fabulous live their albums got only marginal sales so they found themselves in $500,000 debt following recording Sanctuary under their new label EMI-America records, a division of Capitol. They only began finding album success with Love Stinks and then broke to the top of the charts and platinum album sales of over 1 million units for Freeze Frame.
