Emails about my Homepage and Hard work

5/99 Noticed the new section of your homepage. Movie reviews. I must agree with you in one respect. I try to conquer all fears I have had since childhood regarding disturbing movies. Did it with Rocky Horror. Did it with Clockwork Orange. But, I still cannot bring myself to conquer World According to Garp. Also, you were right about She's all That. That gave me the biggest flashback to high school days. Great Movie. The guy you admire is also in the teenage slasher flick I Know what you did last summer. Seen your pictures. Kind of know your personality, so I must ask: What man wouldn't have you? Thank you for your kind words and motivation on my upcoming (august 20) situation. Take care. The dylan page looks as good as ever. What in the world is the Carrie White Show????? Eric
[enote: anyone who wants to get on my good side should write something like this one!]

3/99 I can't believe I just discovered your home page. It's hysterical. Be my boyfriend and loser boyfriend and your rant page is so clever. I want to add links to my MaryJaneZone site from creative people like you. Do you mind if I put your homepage on as a link. Love your ideas! Erika, you brighten my day. Such a crack-up. THE guy that finally finds you and "gets" you, is going to have a terrific adventure! --Mary Jane Visit the MaryJaneZone @ http://www.maryjanezone.com

11/98 I stumbled onto your page being a practice/dylan mcdermott fan and I have to say I love your page. Then I went to your homepage and saw the reiki link. I found out about reiki only about a year ago. My mom studies it, and I think its absolutely fascinating. Having done a lot of yoga I see that there are a lot of similarities between the two. Anyway, just thought I would share. -Madalsa

7/98 I like your home page. You seem like a very interesting woman. Just wanted to say hi.-Eric

6/98 Your web site re: sexual harassment is so true! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings about the trauma of this experience. However, as a teacher it is not as easy as going to your human resources department. Been there, done that. Was removed from my classroom when I reported my retaliations which included not being allowed to eat lunch at school for 5 months. And then they reassigned me to work at the district office where the harasser worked. When I didn't report, I was terminated. Although I received a Right to Sue letter from EEOC I have been unable to find attorney in city of 1200+ attorneys. However, I filed a lawsuit myself in Federal Court, 4/98. Still without an attorney. Non-tenured teachers (have worked for district less than 2-3 yrs.) work under a law in most states which gives the school system a right to fire you at anytime, for any reason, or no reason. I'm not kidding! Therefore, supervisors are given a green light to do what they want - anything they want, at the expense of the teacher. You either submit, resign, or when you report it - are teminated. And sexual harassment of teachers continues, and it continues, and it continues, and it continues..................Best to you. Nancy

5/98 I also wanted to mention to you that I cruised around the other areas of your site, and got a kick out of reading about you. I especially liked the "Be My Boyfriend" section. You sound like a very interesting person. You've had a lot of "life"experience!! And being the animal lover that I am, I also enjoyed reading about your pets. Hope all is well, and I will continue to check back with you!! --Kevin

4/98 Who's Dylan whats-his-face and how do you know about Mar Y Sol (or whatever) .... I liked your website (what I've seen of it). You're reallly b-a-d-d-d, but I like that. After going through your website, I remember thinking, that "this chick is smart, but also very independent, honest and probably a little wild and crazy. Well, I apologize. You are much more! -JohnB

I actually didn't expect a response to my little message to you, but since you ask how I found you, I guess I should respond. One of my clients is a business in Hyannis and he is using CapeInternet as his ISP. I'm doing some work for him on his web page. Anyway, I was browsing CapeInternet's site, primarily looking at how they categorize businesses and checking out his competition's sites and I got bored and just started looking around. I found your site totally at random. But once there I got hooked on how much personal information you were willing to share with the world and after reading everything, I thought it only fair to e-mail you and let you know that I appreciated all the work and effort you put into your site. It's none of my business, but I was struck by the rather off-handed description of your father's death. It gave me the sense that you were (maybe still are) angry that he died, or that he died sailing. If that's not the case, perhaps further clarification would be in order in your bio. I enjoy sailing myself and aside from dying in my sleep, I wouldn't mind dying with one hand on the tiller. But I'd hate the prospect that my daughter (now a U-Mass/Amherst student) would hold that against me. If ever you'd like help with your web site, or if you have any computer problems, feel free to e-mail, fax or even phone me. Sincerely, Larry L
I read your rant about your coworker, and he sounds like a total abuser. Good for you for giving all those tips on how to deal with it. I sure as hell hope something gets done about him, for your sake. I agree with this completely. They want us to sit down and shut up and let them get away with their crap. And if we do that, we're just as bad as them. Good luck. It's always great to hear from someone who's fighting the good fight. :-) Peace, Denise
