My whole family loves the Practice but I think Bobbie has some strange clients. The woman who was assured of shaking the child. I don't know what to think about that one. well, as long as it isn't lucy! actually, i don't think either women are good for bobby and not because i harbor some irrational fantasy that i would be the right one for him, either. lindsay's too nosey and self-righteous at times, and while Helen is stronger, i didn't see much of a relationship basis between she and bobby, other than the sex thing, which isn't all bad, but i don't think she's enough of a support for him. ally? oh my god - i love ally, but bobby would probably hurl himself off a building after a few hours with the neurotic little one. she did, however, get him to smile and be less sullen....that's my 2-cents.--Biolaw

I caught him late Thursday nite, well Friday morning on the late show, the rerun from October. I have read transcripts of some of his guest appearances, but had not been able to see him in action. He is, as I suspected, quite funny and playful. He is very natural and laughs easily. Always a plus in my book. I'm just happy that there is a lot to report! This time last year it was a desert out there. I hope he doesn't get trampled in the Hollywood Hype Machine. He is still enjoying meeting fans and signing autographs. I hope it doesn't get to the point where he can't go out in public without security. That has got to be a drag. I read a comment not long ago that Dylan's list of credits wasn't all that great, that he had been in some less-than-spectacular movies and that he was "window dressing" in some other, better movies. What win- dow dressing! I dislike these smug reviewers who always have some- thing derogatory to say about the stars they review. I have seen most of Dylan's movies at this point; and, although I liked some better than others, I never saw him give less than 100%. He always seems to hit the character dead-on. My favorite is still the 15 minute scene in "The Badlands" between him and Helen Hunt. It is just magical. --Ida
