I happened to run across your web site and congratulations it's GREAT! I've been following Dylan's work since Hamburger Hill. He was due for the recognition he's getting now. He's a remarkable actor and a charming genuine person. He's Lovely! Back in August of this year I went to the Dodger celebrity baseball game specifically because I found out he would be there. So when they announce him I'm screaming insanely at the top of my lungs for him. About 4 or 5 rows down from where I was sitting, these two guys turn around and look at me like I'm crazy. They don't understand how much admiration/attraction I have for Dylan. Now the Celebrity game is over. I was content; I was in the same building as Dylan. Was I in for a surprise when he walks down the same row I'm sitting in. I felt my heart beating fast and then faster when he sat down only 4 to 5 rows down from me. Ironically, with the same guys that turned around and looked at me earlier. I was in heaven! I build up enough courage to walk over and tell him I was an admirer of his work. He was very friendly and pleasant I got good vibes from him. He was not like other celebrities. Not to mention he was Gorgeous! Then I asked him for his autograph. He was GREAT! I was in heaven for days. Now when I see him on television or in print I appreciate him even more because of the experience I had with him in person. That's my Dylan experience. I guess that you can figure out that I'm a HUGE fan of Dylan too since I'm writing to you. You probably already know, but Dylan was on Conan on Oct 2 as well. I was lucky enough to come upon Conan tickets for Friday, and I had no idea who the guests would be. I flipped out when I found out that Dylan was on. What are the chances that I would be given tickets for a random date and Mr. McDermott would be the guest? It was a great show...I sat in a state of awe since I was in the same room with him. As for Dylan's attire he was dressed smartly, just cool urban wear, subtle, tasteful. black tee under a brown sweater, jeans and black shoes I think. Not sure about what he bought, I was coming back in after a smoke break and an associate pointed him out at the front counter, so I went over and shook his hand and introduced myself. Sorry didn't catch what he was getting, he was probably waiting for something from the warehouse. But he was very receptive to me, nice to chat with and really approachable. I had a lot of questions but didn't want to interrogate him. He's a very striking guy, though not quite as tall as I expected, probably like 6'1" or so. Must be the TV :) I was told he comes in the store every few months so I hope to see him again in the near future. l8r --Shan

Well I did tell you about Dylan was on Leno 8/19 and I told you I would fill you in. So here it is: Well, Dylan was the first guest on the show and him and Jay were talking about how successful the show was. Then Jay asked Dylan what his favorite show was and Dylan said he liked "I Dream of Jeanie" (sp)...so Jay surprised him with the old board game of that show and Dylan was sooo surprised! So then Jay asked Dylan about his daughter who is like a 2 year old and the last time he was on, he said his daughter was into Barney, but now she's into Sesame Street. Then he was talking about his wife and the car thing because he makes fun of her that she can't drive and Dylan said he got into trouble about that. News for you in case you hadn't heard: Dylan McDermott appeared on The Rosie O'Donnell Show for the 2nd time on Wednesday. I still have to watch the whole thing, but they showed a clip of The Practice and Ms. O'Donnell had a Biloxi Blues playbill handy. Also, if you needed a bit of a summary for Jersey Girl, Dylan plays a businessman who has a messy breakup with his high class girlfriend and takes up with the Jersey Girl in question. I can't believe I'm doing this!!! I'm not a usual on the system and I'm at work. My husband and I are both attorneys and we enjoy watching The Practice. I recently told my husband I thought Dylan was kinda cute and he put a photo of Dylan on my computer at work. I love it! I'm glad Dylan's married and has a child; his acting reflects it. I love the show, and I love Bobby Donnell. If I worked for sexy Bobby
Donnell, I would find an excuse to work overtime every day. I work for
7 laywers, and I think The Practice is the most realistic portrayal of
the profession that I have ever seen. Everyone raved over LA Law when
it was at its peak, but I could not relate to the lawyers on LA Law the
way I can relate to the laywers on The Practice. All of the laywers I
know, (and that list is extensive), play mindgames with the people in
their professional and personal lives. It is like a switch that cannot
be turned off. They do not like to lose an argument in court or out of
court. You should see them at the "fun" bar association softball game
every year. I have known quite a few people before they went to law
school, and I am convinced that the second year of law school is where
the mental transition takes place. I have seen enough lawyers to make
my job as a paralegal perfectly satisfactory. I love my family and
friends too much to ever go to law school and change who I am. Keep up
